Mandatory Water Conservation in California
On April 1, 2015, California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. signed executive order B-29-15 which imposes mandatory restrictions to achieve a statewide 25% reduction in potable water usage through February 28, 2016. These water restrictions will require that the water suppliers for cities and towns reduce usage compared to the amount used in 2013.
